Our Breeding ProgramI am a small scale Labradoodle Breeder, located in North East Victoria. Burrinjuck Labradoodles is situated less than three hours from Melbourne. Our labradoodles are treasured members of our family. My husband and I, together with our daughter Bree are devoted to our labradoodles and share the responsibilities involved in training, loving and caring for them.
The labradoodle puppies that we breed are raised on our lifestyle property. We understand how vitally important the first eight weeks are for the health, well being and social development of your puppy. It is crucial that puppies have multiple opportunities to interact with people from an early age. We devote many hours of quality interaction time with our puppies, as this is how puppies learn about social bond and develop confidence and trust. Our puppies are raised in an optimal environment for mental stimulation and cognitive learning. Puppies have there own playground, filled with play equipment, obstacle courses and novel toys. Your puppy will have the best possible start to life.

Burrinjuck Labradoodles is comprised of my husband and I, together with our daughter Bree. As a team, we provide a comprehensive and diverse range of canine related skills and services.
Katrina is passionate about her dogs [Some say slightly obsessed]. She is the face behind the social media presence and the person to answer any enquiries. While some people knit or binge watch "Married at first sight", Katrina spends her evenings planning future litters and researching all things "Labradoodle".
Hamish is a 'hands on' kind of guy. He does most of the feeding and watering, fencing, cleaning and clipping of the dogs. His weakness is a blazen favouritism towards his beloved Aurora. This girl is exempt from household rules such as "No Dog on the Bed" and "No giving treats from the table!"
Judith works with us to make sure all puppies and dogs at Burrinjuck are living their best life. Judith is a fully qualified dog behaviour expert, using the Educdog methods (Number 1 Training Program in France). All puppy socialisation packages and training options have special input from this very talented lady.
Our daughter, Bree has always had a unique gift working with animals. She was gifted with Burrinjuck Slipper for her 8th Birthday and the pair were a dynamic duo, until Slipper's passing in August, 2023. It is Bree's instinctive skills to understand each dog's individual temperament and energy that sets her training apart.

Sometimes, despite the best efforts of everybody involved, things just don’t work out. This is the case for gorgeous Orlando! Orlando has been a family member of a single income family comprised of twin daughters who have special needs. The costs associated with pet ownership combined with some unexpected medical expenses has resulted in a heartbreaking decision to offer this gorgeous boy up for re-adoption. We do still intend to keep him through a Guardianship as he is a very valuable stud for our medium sizing.
“Dear Katrina and Hamish, My mind has been racing the past few months, conflicting emotions and needs being tossed back and forth between each other. I keep coming back to the same conclusion and know in my heart what I can and can’t do and that sometimes the hardest decisions are the most important for those you love. Orlando has brought so much joy and endless affection to us for the past 2 years. He has brought laughter, chaos, holey socks and more affection than I ever imagined possible. His paw is always on your knee when the pats stop. He is always waiting at the gate when we get home, his tail wagging happily. He has helped *** (daughter 1) gain so much confidence around dogs and *** (daughter 2) has loved moments shared teaching him new tricks. He is a friend to everyone, always ready for pats and aiming to please by sitting, offering paw and laying down for his favourite treats. All this love, joy and laughter has made this decision one of the hardest I have made in my life. But it is a decision I know in my heart is best for Orlando. I am asking for your help to please find Orlando a new home, a home where he can be the centre of someone’s world. A home where he always has a friend by his side whether it be a furry friend or human friend. A home where he can be taken on adventures and be included in everyday life. He has his best years ahead of him and deserves this every day of his life.” Bek
