Our Breeding Program

There is nothing quite as special as seeing the joy on a person's face when their new puppy is placed into loving arms for the first time.

Burrinjuck Labradoodles was established in 2005. We have built our breeding program from established lines of multi-generational labradoodles and also introduced new blood lines sourced from overseas and within Australia.

Breeding Labradoodles is our passion and we take great pride in the health and wellbeing of our dogs and puppies. Our staff are committed to providing puppies and dogs of excellent health and with superb natures. Our breeding dogs are hip and elbow scored at 1 year of age and undergo a full DNA Genetic Profile. In addition, families who purchase a Burrinjuck puppy receive a comprehensive health guarantee contract.

Genetics is important but it is only part of the equation. The environment is also important. Our puppies are raised in our family home. From the first few days of life, puppies are handled and undergo early neurological stimulation.

From four weeks of age, puppies continue to be handled over increasing periods of time. Pens are filled with play equipment and a range of stimulating toys. From 6 weeks, puppies are exposed to a wide variety of every day sounds, smells and sights. We aim to teach our puppies growing independence. They are encouraged to spend some time on their own and to develop their confidence. Most importantly of all, our puppies are loved and cuddled throughout the eight weeks that they spend in our care.
