OUR HERO

Charlie (Baci/Hank 4.9.15) is a handsome boy at 4.5mths! Going for walks is his favourite time of the day - he's made lots of friends and is a very popular boy. No-one can resist stopping for a friendly pat!

Hi Katrina ,

I thought I'd send a photo to show you what a beautiful boy Harley is becoming. ( Stella and Chucks baby ). He really is and he has the nature to match. Since we bought him home , my hubby has been ill with Parkinson's disease , I'm sure Harley can sense it because he is different around him - mostly more gentle. He is amazing. He truly makes our day. Thankyou for our beautiful boy x

Hi Katrina,

Happy New Year! As hard as it is for us to believe - our beloved Raffi is now 4 years old. (Shiloh and Calico Dec 2011) It seems like yesterday we picked him up from the airport in Perth on a very hot Valentine’s Day in 2011 and now he is loving life here in Vancouver. He truly is the best dog, has the nicest personality and has never growled at a thing in his life. He even allowed us to put these antlers on his head for a picture. We hope you are all doing great. [BAILEY AND YAHTZEE- OCTOBER 2015]

BEST FRIENDS

 

Asher is 20 months and Rosie (Bailey and Yahtzee) is 6 months. Rosie has blossomed into the most special family treasure. She comes everywhere with us and is never more than a meter from our feet when we're sitting down. She is the perfect companion to our two young boys who absolutely adore her. Whenever they're upset, they head over to her for a big cuddle and suddenly everything is good again.

BODHI: HARD AT WORK

Hi Katrina & Bree

Thought you might like to see a recent pic of Bodhi - he is 6mths now and 12kgs. He had an extension clip last week (I just couldn't keep up with maintaining his unruly mane of puppy fleece)!

His training is coming along well. I can't remember the last time we had a toilet accident inside. And he happily stays in his crate till 7am these days. We worked out that he hated being up the other end of the house from everyone and once we moved his crate to the hallway so he could watch our bedroom doors he stopped barking to be let out at 5am! I've also been working on his recall and he has improved a lot.

He goes to 'puppy daycare' at the local Petstock once a week or so as I don't like to leave him if there is no-one at home for long periods and he loves playing with the other dogs. The staff all say he has an incredible temperament and is the most gentle, placid, well behaved puppy they have ever seen. He is a little bit cheeky though and steals shoes or the kids soft toys when he decides he isn't getting enough attention. And he LOVES shredding paper. Tissues, toilet roll, paper towel, homework - whatever he can get his paws on! Luca has been a much more relaxed and happy little boy since he arrived. Whenever Luca sits down Bodhi goes and sit underneath his feet so that Luca can rub his feet on Bodhi's back. I'm not sure who enjoys it more!

I'm really amazed how Bodhi reads moods and has taken on the job of watching out for the kids. Not just Luca. If he hears my 3yo cry he'll alert me with a low warning bark and go sit outside her door till I go in and check on her!
